Co-Operative Education (Co-op)
Co-Operative Education
Co-operative Education allows students to earn secondary school credits while completing a work placement in the community. As a re-engagement school, Barrydowne College understands that the student may require a flexible study environment to earn elective credits. Co-operative Education is an excellent way to gain valuable learning experience outside the regular classroom. Many of our students have found a career path through placements in early childhood education, welding, carpentry and the automotive sector.
Please see Guidance at the school if you are interested in Co-operative Education. We will work to support a flexible timetable to ensure your success.
“Co-Op is a great program led by an amazing teacher who is always ready to help and doesn’t shy away from lending a helping hand. They deserve many thanks and I am happy to have been part of the program.” J. M.
