School Policies

Barrydowne College (BDC) is a re-engagement secondary school with the Rainbow District School Board. When students have the opportunity to attend the school, they are working towards their high school diploma (OSSD) earning a total of 30 credits (18 compulsory and 12 electives).

As a re-engagement school, BDC provides for some flexibility allowing students to work in a part-time or full-time Co-operative Education placement or attend a dual credit class (classes). It is imperative that students know and understand the expectations of attending Barrydowne College.
